Introducing…the New Canon “Prosumer”-Level EOS 60D!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
POSITIONED IN CANON’S product line-up between the entry-level and mid-range EOS Rebel series and the high-end EOS 7D, the new 60D bridges the gap between popular, more consumer-oriented DSLRs—and the high-end professional models: call it a “Prosumer” digital. And Canon has done its best with the 60D to offer a fine combination of professional features at a more “consumer-like” price.
This model, introduced in August of 2010, replaces the popular EOS 50D (see menu tab in the top navigation bar).
A few of the 60D’s features:
- 18.0-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor; ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800)
- Includes 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS UD standard zoom lens
- Improved EOS HD Video mode with manual exposure control; Vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor
- 5.3 fps continuous shooting; enhanced iFCL 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system
- Compatibility with SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards (not included)
